At low tide, walk out to the iconic sandbar shaped like a whale’s tail. The reef that protects this remarkable formation from dangerous currents and strong waves makes it a perfect place to swim. The southern end of the beach is also excellent for amateur surfers.

Whale and Dolphin Watching
Explore our shores in search of breaching humpback whales and two different species of playful resident dolphin. Round off your tour by snorkeling amongst the coral and rocky reefs of the Uvita National Park discovering the wonderfully colorful marine life that thrives beneath the surface.
Marino Ballena Nature Walk
Explore the lush vegetation of Marino Ballena National Park as you go in search of birds amongst the mangroves and wildlife along the paths. With the help of a naturalist guide, spot everything from howler and white-faced monkeys to bats, raccoons and even crocodiles while you explore the area’s unique features, natural history and delicate ecosystems.
Coconut Farm Tour
